TRIP TO RUSSIA

The 2006-2007 school year culminated with a trip to Russia in June. Participating students performed internationally and gained valuable cultural and educational experiences. They received piano lessons with Irina Agazhanova, the director of the Igumnov State Music School, and the following day performed in a joint concert with Russian students of the school. Our students were also featured in a performance at the American Embassy in Moscow. In addition to the intense musical experience, American families enjoyed interacting with Russian children and taking in the most recognized sights of Moscow, including the Red Square, Saint Basil's Cathedral, the Kremlin, Saint Sergey Monastery, and the Moscow circus.
