NEW STUDENTS
Students with prior music instruction need to audition. Beginners do not have to audition, but are welcomed for an interview. If you have questions about our school or wish to schedule an audition time, please contact

REGISTRATION
Registration is by the semester. Our semesters are based on the school calendar year. The Fall semester is 16 weeks long, and the Spring semester is 20 weeks long.
Students are expected to take lessons every week during the semesters. New students can start lessons in the middle of the semester if scheduling permits. Students who would like to receive extra lessons to prepare for the recitals or other events can register for them separately.

SUMMER LESSONS
The majority of our students take summer lessons. Summer is a great time to make progress in music, when students can dedicate more time to practicing and learning new repertoire. Students can register for as many lessons as they would like with their own teacher or a substitute teacher.
THEORY CLASS
To choose the appropriate theory class talk to Matthew or Katarina Loudermilk.
MAKE-UP POLICY
There are no refunds for missed lessons. If you cannot make it to your lesson, please let your teacher know as soon as possible so he or she can arrange a make-up lesson. At least 24 hours advanced notice is required in order to receive a make up lesson. There is a limit of 2 make-up lessons each semester. A make-up lesson should be taken within a week of the missed lesson. All of our teachers are performing artists and will occasionally have a schedule conflict. In this case you will get a substitute teacher or a make-up lesson.
PAYMENT POLICY
Payment must be received before your first lesson of the semester. Early payment will guarantee your spot in your teacher's studio. You can pay in full or choose the installment plan.

There is a $15 fee for any late payment or returned check.
If for some reason you discontinue lessons in the middle of the semester you will be given a refund for the remaining lessons.
