Building character. Testing excellence.
Michelle Killgore is a passionate musician, pianist and teacher. She has taught piano privately for over ten years. She has enjoyed watched many students grow from beginners to well rounded, confident pianists who perform beautifully. Her students have competed at The Federation Festival in Galveston receiving perfect scores in performance and theory.
I have played the piano since I was seven years old, and fell in love with it from the start. It brings me much joy to get students excited about music, especially the piano. As a teacher I believe it is important to provide the fundamentals of theory, technique and a structured lesson while still nurturing each student's creativity. I truly enjoy sharing my passion for music with each and every student.
Michelle is currently pursuing her music degree at The University of Saint Thomas with scholarships including the McDonald Foundation for music and Phi Theta Kappa for academic standing. She is a student of Professor Hatem. Before transferring to UST I she recieved her Associates in Music at San Jacinto Community College.
